Does high cholesterol have an effect on conception?

I have high cholestrol and i am also trying to get pregnant. Would high cholesterol have an effect on me?

1. They say that it does. In some women, they still might get pregnant while having high cholesterol. I lost 40 lbs and got my cholesterol in check and ended up pregnant after 10 yrs of marriage so in my case, weight and cholesterol did affect us.
