What's the difference between fat an cholesterol?

If eating less fat reduces weight then does less cholestrol also reduce weight? and what exactly is the difference between the two? are there some foods with more fat and some with more cholestrol or is cholestrol somthing that the body produces after eating fats? Does cholestrol reduction ruduce weight?

  1. Cholesterol is an enzyme produced by the liver to break down fat. Fat is in foods that we eat
  2. Fat sits under your skin. Cholesterol builds up in your veins and arteries.
  3. If you eat too much saturated fat the liver cannot break it all down and results in cholesterol which clogs the arteries. This is one of the causes of heart disease. Aim to eat less than 20grams per day. At all costs avoid Trans fats, this is homogenised fat and not good for you.
