Cholesterol Cholestrol

why is there so much cholestrol in venison?

i have checked several nutrition and calorie counting web sites and i am finding that a serving of venison is said to have between 25 and 40 percent of your daily intake of cholesterol based on a 2000 calorie diet. what makes venison so high in cholesterol?

  1. All red meats are high in cholesterol. Venison is actually lower than other red meats like beef.
  2. No Eye Deer You'll often read that venison contains a lower level of cholesterol than beef, but this just isn't true.
